I started this new year with a prayer, entrusting myself, and my life - be it
the big or small things, to e Lord. It was a prayer done right after d
countdown. We were encouraged to pray for ourselves,in groups, or alone; and i
chose d latter. couldn't reli find time to find ppl to pray together. hehs, it
doesnt reli matter does it, most importantly, i reli did once again entrust my
life to e Lord.
And moving on to a new year, i prayed for many things.
Firstly,was for God's guidance in everything and
anything that we do, that just like how He has brought me and us, through 2008
(when we didnt know we can actually make it through but we did), by His grace.
Yes it was truly just His amazing grace that brought me through everything,
whether big or small, exams or free-from-exams, positive or negative thoughts,up
times and down times (mostly the emo times), where we thought we could never
ever survive, but we did - By His Amazing Grace.
And so with heartfelt thanks to my heavenly father, I'm learning
to embrace 2009 with faith and new hope, and hoping that i'd learn to
trust my heavenly Father more and more each day as i come to
experience His faithfulness and love for me in my everyday life.
Looking
back,i am so so thankful for my family - Dad, Mom and Sis, who are ever so
loving to me, so sacrificial and patient with me. i reli thank God for them!!!
and for the beautiful people around me - Kenny,Xiwen,William, Jennifer... and so many more.
and school mates so dear - Serene,Chow etc etc.
I just know i am
BLESSED!! There is really nothing more blessed than to be a Child of God,
because then, when u have God, u have everything else, cuz everything else will
just fall perfectly into place.
Give me that added faith O Lord to face this 2009 with
courage - not only in studies, in learning your word, in handling
human relationships, but also in every other aspect of my life, so that i can do more for you O Lord!
Thank You Jesus!!
