some thoughts, others aside.
Decided to post an entry of my thoughts before i actually start putting up pictures here,of events that happened yesterday. (:

Watched the movie - The Leap Years yesterday together with William, Gary,Kobe, Yu min, Kevin,Tric & Sam when they came over for d baking session. Though the 2nd time watching it,it was nonetheless, very heartwarming, and romantic as well. But it left me pondering if such a "lovestory" actually exist in such a society, or should i say reality. Tofu then mentioned sth which left an impression on me. that 'pretty' girls ( for this case Li-Ann starring Wong Li-lin in the show) didn't reli need to date/ask a stranger out ...hence implying only the not-so-pretty needsss to? (according to the show,on feb 29th, a leap yr). I didnt quite agree with him on that, cuz i'm sure not only are the "not-s0-pretty" girls hoping of a special someone out there, there can be real pretty ones who will be as well. and also cuz, i have so MANY pretty friends who are still SINGLE, and on the other hand, girl friends who aren't lookin as fantastic, but they are afterall, attached. Hence i didnt quite agree with tofu, but i was too tired to think then, that's why i'm bloggin now, but just my own thoughts, no offence or anything.I'm sure there are many different situations to be mentioned, if we really go in depth n analyze it proper.... But i just hope i've brought through my point. At day's end , how do we actually define 'a woman's worth' or 'beauty'? Simply by her looks? or would u rather d character that goes a longer wayyy than external beauty? i'm sure we are very clear, the things that will fade away, and the things that will remain. (:

And i guess its not the first time im blogging abt such matters of the heart, that left me feeling very cynical abt human relationships. the things that happened to the people around me showed me how fragile relationships are. and i think i'm blessed, for not experiencing it myself, but learn through the wounds of others - of cuz im not being a sadist by laughing over their misery, but what i want to say is that, even though not being able to exp things myself, i can learn through the mistakes/ plight of others, really.and i am very thankful for that.

was just tellin my sis how HARD it is,to find someone of the same goals, same direction as you, in dreams, in religion, in the principles that we hold. to be able to find the someone is prolly like... "finding a needle in the seas" - as the chinese sayin' goes. HAHA sorry that sounds funny but don't brood over it.just get what im trying to bring across aye? :P
It's so tough, but how come i see it feasible, possible, among the ppl around me, church mates who are married, cousins who are married n all? It aint easy, they must have gone through a period of waiting upon the Lord, and praying for the one to go through their lives with.

The conclusion, which (i feel) is very effective, says : Refuse to settle, until you find the one worth keeping. (from d book!!oh yeahh ^.^) but also, if i really CANT' find, so be it. i know i can stay contented & joyful in the Lord cuz He'll help to bring me through the roughest seas of life, come what may.. (:
